7 operating tips for bulldozer construction
Bulldozer is a commonly used earthwork machine, which plays an important role in construction sites, mines, agriculture, forestry and water conservancy and other fields. Many people feel that it should be very easy to drive, not as complicated as excavators and loaders. In fact, although the bulldozer is simple to operate, it copes with more working conditions, so the operator also needs to master a lot of construction operation skills, through the mastery of these skills, you can better drive the bulldozer to achieve maximum efficiency operation.
Skill 1: Slow speed and large load are more efficient than fast and light load, and try to maintain a large load when the bulldozer is operating. Although the driving speed is relatively slow, it can reduce the number of round trips and reduce the mileage of empty vehicles, which saves time and fuel consumption overall.
Skill 2: When encountering long-distance bulldozing operations, work in sections from front to back. Starting from the very front, each section of distance can be filled with just enough material, so that after pushing a section, move back a section. This can not only reduce the distance of the bulldozer driving with full load, but also reduce the distance of the bulldozer returning empty, improve work efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.
Skill 3: Try to avoid material tumbling. Many people think that the material rolling in front of the bulldozer blade looks very good, which is a sign of the bulldozer's strong power. In fact, material flipping increases wear and tear on blades, blades and corners, which can increase the fuel consumption of the dozer. The correct way to do this is to continuously increase the load to the maximum amount after the blade is cut in to improve the efficiency of the work, and lift the blade slightly when the load is full and the material is about to roll.
Skill 4: When bulldozing near the mountain, we must master the principle of "high outside and low inside", that is, the side near the cliff is higher, and the side near the mountain is lower, so as to avoid the danger of accidents in the bulldozer. When pushing and unloading earth and rocks under the cliff, the speed should be slow, pay attention to slow down in time, and the bulldozer shovel should not push out the edge of the cliff.
Skill 5: When bulldozing in muddy and soft working conditions, the bulldozer is easy to get trapped, so the amount of bulldozing per shovel should not be too large, try to avoid stopping, shifting, steering and braking during driving, and use 2 gears to bulldoze if necessary. If the track slips, the blade can be appropriately lifted to reduce the amount of bulldozing, if the bulldozer still can not move forward, it can be hung back in reverse gear. Do not lift the blade at this time, so as not to lean forward due to excessive force on the front of the bulldozer, causing the front part of the crawler to sink and the rear part to warp. At this time, it is also not possible to steer, in case one side of the track is too stressed and aggravates the trap. Once the car is trapped, do not frequently increase the throttle to save yourself, in case the bulldozer sinks deeper and deeper.
Skill 6: When pushing a stone buried in the ground, push it from a high place to a low place, use a small throttle at the beginning, and then increase the throttle to push the stone off when the stone is loose. If it is a stone or gravel piled on the ground, the shovel blade should be close to the ground when pushing, and the track should also try to touch the ground to drive. If you are removing gravel in a tunnel or underground cavern, you should first clear a path from the edge and then push the gravel out of the hole one by one from the edge to the middle.
Skill 7: If the bulldozer wants to cross the river with water, it should choose a place where the water flow is relatively turbulent, and try not to cross the river at a slow place, because the silt on the riverbed in this kind of place is easy to get trapped. The depth of the river should not exceed the dipstick mouth of the bulldozer crankcase, and the first or second gear throttle should be used to cross the river quickly, and try not to stop or reverse in the middle.
In general, the principles to be mastered when bulldozing operations are: first-gear bulldozing operations; Avoid unilateral loads as much as possible, maintain a stable dozing force, and minimize the distance traveled by empty vehicles.
